WORKSHOPS
You are kindly invited to participate in a set of workshops and courses where we will learn how to work with porcelain, the finest material in the world of ceramics.
Most of the workshops don't require any previous experience, because we work in small groups (6people) so you’ll get plenty of individual attention and guidance from our experienced ceramic artist Bojana Ristevski Mlaker, Miha Perne and Ana Ščuka.
Each workshop includes all required materials (porcelain, clay, tools, glaze, kiln firing). Finished pieces can be picked up at the studio one month after the workshop.
All pieces are fired at 1250° and are dishwasher safe.
INVITATION TO A FESTIVE CREATIVE KIDS WORKSHOP
JUHA – School of Porcelain and ARTYČOKE art school invites you to a magical afternoon of creativity!
Dear young artists and parents,
Join us for a special holiday workshop where we’ll joyfully step into the festive season together. Our workshop will be full of imagination, warmth, and creativity – just as December should be!
So, what exactly will we do?
First of all – we’ll spend a fun and creative afternoon together!
We'll be making unique Christmas ornaments using porcelain, paper, and felt. With holiday-themed molds and various materials, each participant will create:
3 unique porcelain baubles
3 additional porcelain ornaments
3 ornaments made of paper
You can hang these ornaments on your Christmas tree or gift them to grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones.
Throughout the workshop, young artists will explore the magic of working with ceramics, and learn basic techniques in paper and textile crafting. By combining these creative crafts, we’ll develop fine motor skills, imagination, and a love for handmade creations.
We’re sure the final pieces will be so special and personal that you’ll want to include them in your holiday decorations for years to come!

Join us on our new workshop in which we will create Christmas decorations from the finest porcelain, using molds with liquid porcelain and also some building with slabs. We will decorate ornaments with colored porcelain, underglaze colors and textures.
Each participant will make three porcelain baubles for the Christmas tree and ten more hanging decorations.
Price for the workshop is 80eur per person.
MASTERCLASS WORKSHOP

PORCELAIN JEWELRY
WITH BOJANA RISTEVSKI MLAKER

In this special masterclass you will learn different techniques of building porcelain from very thin slabs adding textures. You will learn slip casting technique using molds and also how to get the finest surfaces with sending, decorating and glazing.
Together we will be creating earrings, broches and pendants using the finest of materials in the world of ceramics - porcelain.
With Bojana you will go through all creative and the preparatory stages:
- You will learn decorative techniques, slab building and slip casting techniques.
- How to use underglaze colors and how to paint with them.
- Sanding and cleaning the porcelain surface.
- Bojana will show you how to prepare glaze and how to apply glaze with brush.
- We will show you every possible way to complete a piece of jewelry and bring it to perfection.
- In the third session, we will teach you how to use overglaze gold and silver.
Price for the workshop is 210eur per person.
PAINTED PORCELAIN with MIHA PERNE

In this special workshop you will learn how to paint porcelain with cobalt oxide with our experienced painter Miha Perne.
You will get from us pre-prepared plate and cup, once fired (biscuit fired) and ready for painting.
together with Miha you will go through all the preparatory stages:
- Sanding and cleaning the porcelain surface.
- Preparation of engobs and cobalt oxide for painting.
- Miha will demonstrate the decorative techniques and then work with you.
- How to prepare glaze and how to apply glaze with dipping.
Price for the workshop is 80eur per person.
Workshops will be held only if we have enough applications ( min 3 max 5 participants).
We ask you kindly to come to the studio at least 15 min before the start of the course/ workshop.
