In 2018 we were hosting Velimir Vukičević in Juha studio for the first time.

On the 2nd September 2022 he will be back with a lecture and workshops, together with a new guest, ceramic artist from Belgrade, Jovana Čavorović. The lecture will cover the beginnings and formation of the ceramics scene in former Yugoslavia and the establishment of the Department of Ceramics at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade.

Velimir will give an insight into the programe and functioning of the department, while Jovana will be sharing her experience from her 3 years postgraduate programe at ISHOKEN Institute in Japan. The guests will share a lot of interesting information, experience and will give some insight into the techniques they use n their work.

The lecture should be very interesting for anyone interested in education and improvement in the field of ceramics.

In the second part of our gathering the authors will demonstrate some techniques they use in decorating porcelain.
