Bojana Ristevski Mlaker
__________
Bojana Ristevski Mlaker is a ceramic artist and the owner of Juha studio.
I graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade at the Department of Ceramics, under the mentorship of Velimir Vukičević. In 2017 I moved to Ljubljana where I opened Juha Studio of Ceramics. Being a member of various art societies, such as ULUPUDUS, DLUL and Blatobran is placing my work between Serbia and Slovenia.
I am driven by the constant need to create aesthetically refined objects with the purpuse of eventually placing them into our everyday environments and thus sharing some of my imagination and my inner world.
Ceramics for me is the the most beautifull artistic medium which allows me to express myself spontaneously trough a bowl, teapot, mug or a sculpture. My style and poethics, lines, prints, traces will be visible in all of them.
Juha Studio is my messy, dusty, creative space on Resljeva 10, with a big shop window full of ceramics, looking for someone, for a new home. Knock, call, click, you are allways welcome.
