Special workshops and masterclasses that we occasionally host in our studio are based on the idea of sharing knowledge and experiences. The field of ceramics is broad. There are numerous possibilities of working with clay and countless techniques available. Ceramics unifies art, design, craft, knowledge about the materials, innovation, experiment and much more. We could say that artist who work with clay are some kind of 'weirdos' who live in their own world, are completely focused on their work and not used of cooperation with others.

In order to change this, Juha studio organises masterclasses together with different ceramics artists or presents their work in the display window which has a unique, historic character. Therefore it means that display window of Juha studio is occasionally actually transformed into a small gallery. This is our way of establishing a bond between our studio, other artists and passers-by.
